The Animal Justice Story
Canada’s only not-for-profit legal team specializing in animal rights. Part of our day consisted of shooting a visit to a rescued animal sanctuary in Bradford, where orphaned or mistreated animals are being fostered alongside a few permanent residents of the sanctuary’s farm. Without taking too strong an opinion on the subject, it was refreshing to meet a group of people with such strong, altruistic ambitions. Fighting for animal rights legislation in North America (especially) is a tremendous uphill battle, but the folks at Animal Justice have made enormous strides in improving the conditions of the animal-driven industries in Canada.
