Case Study: Summer at the Beach – A Creative Passion Project
The Project
This was a fun, personal shoot with my friend Summer, combining portraiture, nature, and a bit of firelight magic. The idea was to create moody, creative photos at the beach—just for the joy of experimenting and capturing a vibe.
The Approach
🔥 Beachside Firelight: We set up a small fire on the beach as the natural light faded, creating a warm, cinematic setting.
💡 Strobe & Lantern Play: Used strobe lighting to sculpt the scene and balance it with the soft glow of a lantern Summer held—adding a sense of storytelling and quiet drama.
📷 Just for Fun: No brief, no pressure—just a passion project to stay creatively inspired and play with light.

The Results
The final images feel magical, intimate, and a little mysterious—a reminder of how much beauty can come from low-key shoots with good friends, a camera, and a spark of curiosity.
