Case Study: Nelly – A Friendship Across Generations
The Project
This personal photo series documents my friendship with Nelly, my 97-year-old best friend. She’s more than half a century older than me, has lived all over the world, and has become one of the most meaningful connections in my life.
The Approach
📸 Capturing Connection: These are candid, heartfelt moments—not posed portraits, but real memories. From quiet walks to storytelling sessions, every photo is a celebration of presence.

🌍 Shared Adventures: Some images were taken on a day trip to a river in Halliburton, where we spent hours surrounded by water, trees, and conversation.

🕰 Timeless Bond: The focus isn’t on age—it’s on the beauty of human connection, storytelling, and slowing down to enjoy life together.
The Results
This project is a personal reminder that friendship knows no age. It’s about listening, learning, and sharing joy in everyday moments. Through these images, I’m preserving the kind of connection that’s often overlooked—but deeply powerful.
