Case Study: Low Key – Craig Cooper Music Video
Client: Craig Cooper
Project: Music Video for Low Key
The Brief
For Low Key, Craig Cooper wanted a raw, intimate, and emotionally charged music video that matched the personal, reflective tone of the song. The goal was to keep the visuals simple yet powerful, focusing entirely on performance and mood.
Our Approach
🚗 Performance While Driving – We captured Julian performing in real-time, driving through Toronto at night, creating a moody, immersive feel.

💡 Minimalist Lighting for Maximum Impact – Using only one light, we embraced the gritty, natural streetlights, letting the city’s glow shape the atmosphere.

🎥 One Camera, Pure Emotion – The handheld cinematography kept the visuals raw and intimate, making the performance feel real, vulnerable, and unfiltered.
The Result
A striking, low-fi music video that enhances Craig Cooper’s storytelling, proving that emotion, atmosphere, and simplicity can be just as powerful as a high-budget production.
