Case Study: Ford Motor Company – Owner’s Story: Barry Larsen
Client: Ford Motor Company
Project: Owner’s Story – Barry Larsen, Weyburn, Saskatchewan
The Brief
Ford wanted to highlight Barry Larsen, a dedicated truck owner from Weyburn, Saskatchewan, along with the Ford dealership that has supported him over the years. The goal was to create an authentic, story-driven video capturing Barry’s experience, his work, and his connection with Ford trucks.
The Challenge
🎥 Missing Equipment – While traveling across Canada for multiple shoots, more than half of our filming gear didn’t arrive, leaving us without our drone, lighting, and key camera equipment.

📍 Remote Location – The shoot was taking place several hours from the nearest airport, and we had only two days to complete production.

Last-Minute Adaptation – Our missing gear finally arrived halfway through the last day, just in time to capture an establishing drone shot to tie the story together.
Our Approach
Adaptability in Action – We immediately adjusted, using the gear we had carried on the plane, making the most of natural light and creative framing to ensure the footage met our high standards.

🤝 Staying Focused & Composed – Despite the stress of missing equipment, we didn’t panic—instead, we leaned into problem-solving, staying nimble, efficient, and resourceful throughout the shoot.

📷 Maximizing the Final Moments – When our gear finally arrived, we seamlessly integrated drone footage into the story, ensuring the final piece felt complete and visually compelling.
The Result
A strong, visually engaging owner’s story that seamlessly highlighted Barry’s experience, the reliability of Ford trucks, and the dealership’s commitment to its customers—proving that great storytelling isn’t about having the perfect conditions, but about adapting, thinking on your feet, and delivering no matter what.
