The Brief
To hype the release of Dear Rouge’s Boys & Blondes music video, Universal Music Canada needed a short, high-energy promo spot for social media. The concept was to visually capture the sheer power of the song, making it feel like a track that demands to be played at full volume.
Our Approach
📺 Homage to an Iconic Ad – We took inspiration from Maxell’s legendary “Chair Man” commercial, where the force of sound blows everything backward, emphasizing pure audio energy.

🎬 Creative Problem-Solving – Due to location restrictions, we couldn’t rent a high-powered fan to create real motion. Instead, we animated key props in post-production, making the lampshade and wine glass appear to react to the song’s intensity, even though they were stationary during filming.

Dynamic & Engaging Visuals – The result was a bold, stylish promo that effectively conveyed the impact and attitude of the song, grabbing attention instantly on social media.
